End User License Agreement — Transmute App

Effective date: October 8, 2026

Binaries are publicly downloadable; the License Key is the gate, so the grant below for paid use is conditioned on holding a valid key.

1. Definitions

"Purfect Labs" means Purfect Labs Inc., a Delaware corporation. "App" means the compiled binary releases of Transmute published by Purfect Labs, including through the public release downloads at purfectlabs.com, in any SKU (Core, Pro, Max) and any version. "License Key" means a key issued through Purfect Labs' point of sale. "You" means the individual or entity exercising this license.

2. License grant

Subject to this EULA and the Transmute App Terms of Service, Purfect Labs grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to:

(a) download and verify any published release (no key required); (b) install and run the SKU build matching a valid, active License Key you hold, on up to the number of seats you purchased (one seat per machine), for your personal or internal business use; and (c) evaluate the App without a License Key during a single free trial of up to seven (7) days per machine, measured from the licensing service's first contact with that machine. The trial requires periodic connection to the licensing service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Use after the trial requires a valid License Key.

3. Restrictions

You must not: (a) share, sell, lease, sublicense, or transfer a License Key; (b) circumvent, disable, spoof, patch, or interfere with license validation, activation limits, the trial mechanism, or the grace-period mechanism; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except to the extent a law expressly permits despite this limitation; (d) modify the binaries or redistribute modified binaries; (e) remove or alter proprietary notices; (f) use the App to provide the App's functionality to third parties as a service; (g) use the App, its detection packs, or its documentation to design, build, benchmark, or evaluate a product or service that competes with the App, or publish benchmark comparisons of the App without Purfect Labs' prior written consent; or (h) use the App in violation of the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law. Redistributing unmodified release artifacts with their checksums intact is permitted; keys are the gate, not the download.

4. Ownership

The App is licensed, not sold. Purfect Labs and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest, including all intellectual-property rights, in the App, detection packs, and documentation. No source-code rights are granted. (Source licensing for businesses is a separate written agreement.)

5. License validation

The App verifies signed License Keys locally and may download a new signed file from a renewal URL in the key. Entitlement ends at the signed expiry plus the signed grace period; it is not measured from a successful online validation. Trial installs send pseudonymous usage counters while the trial is active. These mechanisms do not send your prompt/response content. See the Privacy Policy.

6. What the App does — and does not — promise

The App transforms matched secrets and personal data in AI-client traffic before your machine forwards requests to the LLM provider you configure. Detection is pattern- and configuration-based; content the App does not match is forwarded unchanged. Purfect Labs makes no warranty that any particular data will be detected or transformed and accepts no liability for data the App does not match (Disclaimer D2). The App supports — but does not confer — regulatory compliance (D3). A privileged user of the machine can bypass the gateway (D4).

7. NO WARRANTY

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. AI OUTPUT IS GENERATED BY THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS AND IS NOT CONTROLLED, SCANNED, OR WARRANTED BY PURFECT LABS.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PURFECT LABS IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR DATA, AND ITS AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THIS EULA SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. PURFECT LABS HAS NO LIABILITY FOR DATA THE APP DID NOT MATCH, DETECT, OR TRANSFORM.

9. Termination

This EULA terminates automatically if you breach it. Purfect Labs may revoke License Keys for breach, fraud, or abuse. On termination you must stop using the App; your local data, configuration, and logs are yours and remain on your machine. Sections 4 and 6–11 survive.

10. Export

You will comply with applicable export-control and sanctions laws.

11. General

Governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions (UN CISG excluded); exclusive venue in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware. Breach of §3 would cause irreparable harm not adequately compensable by damages; Purfect Labs may seek injunctive and other equitable relief, without posting a bond, in addition to other remedies. The prevailing party in an action to enforce this EULA may recover its reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, to the extent permitted by law. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stands.
