Acceptable Use Policy — Transmute App
Purfect Labs Inc.
Effective date: October 8, 2026
This policy is incorporated into the Transmute App Terms of Service and End User License Agreement between you and Purfect Labs Inc. ("Purfect Labs," "we"). Because the App runs entirely on your machine without sending prompt/response content to Purfect Labs, Purfect Labs has no technical ability to monitor your use and does not; this policy is enforced by contract and by License Key revocation.
1. Lawful use
You may use the App only in compliance with applicable law. You must not use it to: facilitate illegal activity; infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights; create, process, or transmit child sexual abuse material; distribute malware; or harass, defraud, or harm others. Your use of connected LLM providers must also comply with those providers' terms and usage policies — routing traffic through the App does not exempt you from them.
2. Your traffic, your responsibility
All data you route through the App is yours and your responsibility. If you process other people's data (for example, client data as a consultant or freelancer), you represent that you have the rights, notices, and consents applicable law requires — both for processing it and for sending its unmatched remainder to the LLM providers you configure (Disclaimers D1/D2).
3. No misuse of licensing
You must not: share, sell, pool, or transfer License Keys; exceed activation limits by circumvention; spoof, replay, patch, or otherwise interfere with license validation, the local license state, the trial mechanism, or the grace-period mechanism; or misrepresent the App's origin. Redistributing unmodified release artifacts with checksums intact is permitted (see EULA §3); keys are the gate, not the download.
4. No misrepresentation of protection
You must not represent to any third party (clients, auditors, regulators) that the App guarantees detection or removal of sensitive data, or that it makes you or anyone compliant with any law or framework. State it the way we do: matched values are transformed; unmatched content is forwarded unchanged; compliance is determined by your own obligations and program (D2/D3).
5. Security responsibilities
You are responsible for: securing the machine the App runs on; protecting your local audit logs and token maps (a leaked live placeholder can be rehydrated to the real value it stands for); protecting the provider API keys and credentials that transit your gateway; and verifying downloads against the published SHA-256 checksums before installing.
6. No abusive load on Purfect Labs services
The only Purfect Labs-operated service the App contacts is the licensing service (trial reports and license renewal files). Do not flood, probe, scrape, or attempt to breach it, and do not attack the public release downloads or purfectlabs.com.
7. Enforcement
Violations are a material breach of the Terms and EULA. We may revoke License Keys for breach, fraud, or key abuse; your local data, configuration, and logs remain untouched on your machine (Terms §12). Because we cannot see your traffic, enforcement is based on evidence that reaches us (for example, key-abuse signals from the license service or third-party reports). You agree to cooperate reasonably with our investigation of a suspected violation that concerns your License Key or account — including answering targeted questions and preserving and producing relevant records you control — and not to interfere with that investigation. We may update this policy prospectively; material changes are posted with a new effective date.
